A decade after its formation the Missouri Foundation for Health developed a new strategy for grantmaking. Self-evaluation of lessons learned and new leadership fueled the impetus to change, but it was also necessary to reaffirm the foundations goals with the partners and relationships already in place. This website guides viewers through MFH’s journey through reflection on the past, development of a new strategy, and the future impact of the foundation’s work to improve the health of Missourians.

Funding Brochure
i2i Logo
Reinsurance Group of America Technology Partners is an internal department focused on the application of web and software based applications to develop and enhance the underwriting capabilities of clients. For a service called The Insurance-to-Institution Solution, I designed the i2i logo to reference the familiar concept of “business-to-business” and to create a mnemonic typographic solution. It uses the three colors of the RTP group and the number two physically traces a path from “i to i.”

MoCAP Postcard
This postcard explains how MFH collaborates with nonprofits to increase their opportunities for federal funding by working with an organization with financial leverage and grant-writing experience. The goal of MoCAP is to maximize the amount of available federal grant money “captured” by Missouri organizations.

Total Rewards Logo
Reinsurance Group of America’s human resources department developed new recruiting materials for domestic and international offices. To emphasize the generous benefits of employment at RGA, I developed a new identity for materials under the heading “Total Rewards.” This logo uses colors defined by corporate graphic standards and has a universal aesthetic to suit RGA’s global operation. Positive and negative spaces create a plus sign and equal sign—the equation that illustrates the benefits of employment with RGA as the sum of all the components. Elements like the equal sign can be incorporated with new elements to create active statements like “Total Rewards = Compensation.”
Healthy & Active Communities Poster
At national health conferences a poster session allows attendees to study and restudy your information and discuss it with you one on one. This poster for MFH’s Healthy & Active Communities funding program draws people in with bold graphics and displays a wealth of information about how HAC can bring positive changes to improve the health of communities.
